Where Spirits Are Coming From:
We started House Spirits Distillery to re-invigorate the craft of distillation and stamp it with the taste and flavor of the Pacific
Northwest. As native northwesterners we recognize the uniqueness and bounty of our region and this appreciation of place
allows us to take such international spirits as Vodka, Gin, Rum and Whiskey and craft them according to our own vision.
Our spirits are quality driven and reflect the appreciation of tradition coupled with the willingness to experiment that characterizes
the pioneering efforts of the regions great breweries, wineries and cooking. We are in good company.
Our belief in capturing regional character is best reflected in our whisk(e)y program. Northwest grown grains are distilled and
married with local water and stored in Oregon oak barrels and perhaps most importantly aged in our envious climate with its distinct
seasons. What will this whisk(e)y be like only time can tell, but we can definitely tell what it will not be like and that is it will
not be like any whiskey in the world.
All our spirits, from the flagship MEDOYEFF VODKA to the Genever inspired AVIATION GIN to the KROGSTAD AQUAVIT, RUM,
WHISK(E)Y and our APOTHECARY LINE of truly one of a kind liquors available only at the distillery’s SPIRIT & COCKTAIL BOUTIQUE,
are expressions of our vision to craft fine spirits that speak to their place, that do not cater to trends but rather set the trend.
Our SPIRIT & COCKTAIL BOUTIQUE, adjacent to the distillery itself, is the show case for our fine products. Here we present our
spirits in the context of the belief that, just as inside the distillery where quality spirits begin with quality ingredients and
attention to detail throughout the entire process, quality cocktails must begin with fine ingredients, proper equipment and the
knowledge of the traditions of this distinctly American art form called the cocktail.
